Our season long weed control service in Calgary includes 3 scheduled visits throughout the season plus 1 complimentary visit if you ever feel our service did not meet your expectations.

2. What is the expected timeline for the applications?

We usually aim to complete your first visit within 3 business days of receiving your order, subject to weather and other conditions.

The first application is typically completed by the end of May, the second by end of June, and the third by the end of July. Timing may vary slightly based on weather conditions.

3. How can clients help maximize the effectiveness of the lawn treatment?

To ensure the best results, we recommend not mowing for 72 hours before and after the application. Please avoid watering the lawn for 24 hours following treatment to allow the product to work properly. For safety, keep children and pets off the grass for 24 hours after application or until the lawn is fully dry. After 24 hours, we recommend giving your lawn a light to moderate watering.

4. Do I need to be home during the scheduled visits?

No, you do not need to be home. We ask that you leave your gates unlocked to give us access to the backyard and other areas that require service. We will notify you by email or text 24 hours before your service and once the service is completed.

5. Couldn’t I just do these treatments myself?

Lawn Lovers uses professional grade materials (seeds, fertilizer, weed control, love potion) and equipment which are not readily available to purchase by the general public. You could do these treatments yourself, but ultimately you would be using a lower grade product and paying nearly the same amount or even more.

6. Is your weed control regimen safe for pets and kids?

Lawn Lovers makes safety a top priority for all our customers, employees, and others. All our products are approved by Health Canada and our technicians are highly trained to follow all guidelines. The chemicals we use will not harm your kids and pets, although, the lawn will need to be kept off until it has fully dried.
